CogniCity.Info is the result of numerous collective urban experiments with social research and engagement; infrastructure mapping, evaluation, and analysis; data collection via social media platforms; chat bot developments; as well as various experimental hardware deployments, including Arduino- and Raspberry Pi-based environmental sensor networks. By working across disciplines, technologies, social divisions, and political boundaries, the CogniCity researchers have created a comprehensive urban data collection platform that enables the synthetic integration of heterogeneous data sources and types within a robust framework for scalable, real-time deployments.
